New! Hand scanner for smooth supply management

Professional add-on for Spectades Inventory Management. The hand scanner as an extension of Spectades Inventory Management for your supply maintenance is now available. Until recently, one could use an app on a mobile telephone in the warehouses where the application was used. Inventory management that depends on an employee’s mobile phone is not appropriate in a professional setting, and thus from today on this hand scanner is available for application of Inventory Management.
The hand scanner will be a permanent fixture in the warehouses, making scanning barcodes on issue and intake of supplies a centrally organised process. In addition, the hand scanner is user-friendly, sturdy and solid. It is hard-wearing, so defects and malfunctions due to use and dropping, etc. can be further reduced.

Scanner & App

The Spectades Inventory Management App will, of course, continue in normal use. The hand scanner makes it unnecessary for new or temporary employees to first download the app on their mobile phone. Now there is the scanner, which allows you to register the issue or return of supplies by scanning the barcode. In comparison with the app, the hand scanner is also more user-friendly: there is just one button that takes care of the registration via auto detection. Plus, inventory management using the (central/generic) hand scanner also looks more professional than using an app everyone has to download on their personal mobile.

Professional inventory management creates savings

Spectades Inventory Management assists you in making issue and return of supplies much more efficient. The application is connected online with Infor EAM, which shows that the quantity of supplies displayed in the application is the actual inventory in the warehouse. By using Spectades Inventory Management, you can achieve savings of 90% of the operations in the chain of issue and intake of supplies. Savings created due to supply quantities being immediately written off in Infor EAM, so that the warehouse inventory is current, as are the expenses for the work orders.
