In september heeft Infor versie 11.6 gelanceerd van hun EAM platform. Als Infor EAM consultant vinden we het belangrijk om op de hoogte te zijn omtrent de nieuwste ontwikkelingen op het gebied van Infor EAM. In het totaal zijn er ruim 100 verbeteringen doorgevoerd met deze update. In dit artikel nemen we jullie mee in de belangrijkste nieuwe en vernieuwde functies van Infor EAM 11.6.

Show linear work orders on site from a point on the map
Objects Structure Tab
Two new hyperlinks in the Structure tap of the “objects” screen to open the Work Order screen:
Create extended Work Order – Create a new Work Order for the selected object
Search Work Orders – Open Work Order screen and search open Work Orders for the selected object
This improves navigation to Work Orders, gives better insights into open Work Orders and provides extra information about Work Orders.
Field work app
The new Field Work mobile app is also being simultaneously launched alongside Infor 11.6. This application was intentionally created with the look & feel of the PC-version of Infor EAM. However, the application is expressly not a replacement for existing mobile applications, but rather it complements them. With this app, Infor is responding to requests from end users who indicated that they were looking for the same functionality and user experience on a mobile device. The application is intended for both technicians and managers. As a manager, you can now also see reports in the Field Work app.

An enhancement of the existing options within Infor EAM to improve the set-up, ease of use and accuracy of the general process, bringing the following benefits:
User-friendly and enhanced set-up/administration
New pop-up with repair details for items
Easier to search, filter and sort items when allocating repair details
